For those of you who live in Europe or Israel, you might think that we in Los Angeles are overreacting to the rise in gas prices which are, on average, about $3.90 a gallon as of this writing. Don't forget, this is Los Angeles. We depend on the car unlike any other group of people on this planet.
By the way, I'm one of those people who think biking in this city is undoable, if not dangerous, and I speak from experience.
